Your building
data, wherever
you work.

The Kaiterra MCP brings your air quality data into the AI tools your team already uses. Ask a question in Claude, ChatGPT, and more, to get an answer from your own sensors, without leaving the tools you already trust.

Security & Governance

Governance stays where you set it.

Kaiterra MCP inherits your permission structure rather than working around it. Whether the query comes through Claude, ChatGPT, or another connected tool, it resolves against the roles, project assignments, and configuration already set in your Kaiterra account.

Access runs on each user's own Kaiterra login, secured with OAuth 2.1. There is no master account and no elevated credentials, so the connector can never reach data a user could not already open themselves.

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and others connect to your data. The Kaiterra MCP is how those tools securely reach your air quality data.

Do I need to be technical to use it?

Setup is a one-time connection that takes a few minutes. After that you just ask questions in plain language, like any chat.

Which tools does it work with?

Any AI tool that supports MCP, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor Copilot, and more.

Can it see data I'm not allowed to see?

No. It runs on your own login and role-based permissions, so it can only ever see what you can.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Your data is never used to train third-party AI models.

How is this different from Kaiterra AI?

Kaiterra AI is our purpose-built assistant inside your Kaiterra Data Platform, tuned for building performance questions. The MCP brings the same data into your own AI tools, which is ideal for teams whose policy requires them to use their own assistant.

What does it cost, and how do I get it?

The Kaiterra MCP is currently in Early Access. Request access and we'll follow up about enrolling your organization.
